Job Description:
A company is looking for a Pharmacy Technician.
Key Responsibilities
Provide professional phone assistance to members and providers
through the prior authorization process
Maintain complete, timely, and accurate documentation of all
approvals and denials
Transfer clinical questions and judgment calls to the
pharmacist
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Minimum of 1 year experience in a customer service position with
high volume call center experience in healthcare or similar
fields
At least 1 year experience as a pharmacy technician in an
administrative support role
Advanced computer skills, including word processing and spreadsheet
utilization
Pharmacy Technician certification is preferred but not required
