Kitchen Appliance Mechanic at Walt Disney World Resort summary:
The Area Mechanic - Kitchen Tech is responsible for troubleshooting
and performing maintenance on kitchen equipment, plumbing, and HVAC
systems at Walt Disney World Parks and Resort. This role requires
extensive knowledge in commercial kitchen repair, CO2 systems, and
electrical controls, along with strong communication skills. The
position may involve working in confined spaces and elevated
platforms, ensuring all equipment operates smoothly in a
high-demand environment.
The Area Mechanic - Kitchen Tech is more than just someone that
knows the way around a kitchen. They troubleshoot, perform
maintenance and/or operational procedures in all phases of
plumbing, HVAC, kitchen equipment, refrigeration work. Among many
tasks, the Area Mechanic - Kitchen Tech must be able to repair soda
and beer drink systems, repair commercial kitchen equipment, and
know all about the plumbing trade. The field service position may
include work from elevated platforms and confined spaces throughout
the Walt Disney World Parks and Resort property.
The pay rate for this role in Florida is $28.45 per hour.
